Ask a Curator

Posted on September 16, 2014 in Blog, Public Art

What’s the most valuable piece of artwork in the AGO?

Who decides what dinosaurs to feature at the ROM?

What’s the most obscure item in the collections of the Bata Shoe Museum?

One of the coolest ideas I’ve heard of in ages has just come across my metaphorical desk via Twitter. Today, September 17th is #AskaCurator day.

Just use the hashtag #AskaCurator on Twitter to ask participating curators of galleries, museums and public institutions whatever questions you’d like answered. All you need is a Twitter account then just go to Twitter and search for #AskaCurator to ask a general question or you can ask something of specific institutions using @museumname.

If you miss the event search for the same hashtag and scroll through the conversation.
