May 21st – June 1st

 “a theatrical love-letter to Toronto’s East End”

solo performance festival, a series of site-specific theatre installations and a community ‘Doors Open’ event all in one! The East End Performance CRAWL celebrates the wealth of unique and vibrant independent businesses and community spaces in the Leslieville / Riverdale area. Over the 12 days of the CRAWL, the Festival’s 14 neighbourhood locations will be home to 23 different theatrical experiences created by leading solo artists from all over North America.

The above is quoted from the Crows Theatre web site crowstheatre.com

Listening to Q on CBC the other day I was fascinated by the conversation that Jian Gomeshi had with Mike Daisey. His one-man show Dreaming of Rob Ford sounded like it was a resounding success. I have since learned that it was presented as the headliner of the East End Performance Crawl which is still ongoing till June 1st. Looks amazing.
